Nikon 2 photon FLIM
This custom-build microscope, based on the Nikon Eclipse Ti-E Inverted Microscope System, is a highly versatile system complete with a motorized XYZ stage. The Andor Clara CCD camera combined with a Mercury lamp enables fast-acquisition widefield fluorescence imaging, while the two Hamamatsu GaAsP Photon Counting detectors and the Spectra-Physics Mai-Tai DeepSee Tunable Ultrafast Laser allows for both Multiphoton Excited Fluorescence Microscopy, Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) microscopy, and Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) with up to two simultaneous recording channels. Furthermore, the system is coupled to a Princeton Instruments SpectraPro spectrometer and PIXIS 400B Excelon CCD Camera that enables researchers to acquire spectral information about their samples.
Objectives: 20x NA 0.75, 40x NA 0.6 and 60x NA 1.2 water.
